In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, many communities were left facing overwhelming loss and uncertainty. Homes were damaged, resources were scarce, and families were searching for a way forward. Yet even in the midst of devastation, something powerful began to take shape—a new movement rooted in compassion and action.
Out of this need, Global Relief & Restoration Initiative (GRRI) was born. With a focus on both immediate relief and long-term restoration, GRRI exists to support communities not just in surviving disaster, but in rebuilding their lives with dignity and hope. It represents a commitment to stand in the gap—offering help where it’s needed most and walking alongside people as they recover.
At the heart of this effort is a faithful core team who have continued the work long after the storm passed. From distributing essential supplies to identifying individuals and families still in need, this team has remained present and committed. Their ongoing efforts reflect the true spirit of GRRI—consistent, compassionate, and deeply rooted in service.
Hurricane Melissa may have passed, but the work of restoration continues. Through initiatives like GRRI and the dedication of those willing to serve, hope is not only being restored—it is growing stronger every day. Stay Tuned to learn more!!!
